Please ensure UDP forwarding is disabled on the routers and switches

It is also possible that IP Stack is corrupted:

Remove and reinstall the IP stack utilizing:

Is it the NT domain with Netware and mixed W2k/XP clients? Stop and disable
ComputerBrowser service on all the clients, keep it on the W2k Server(s)
only. Add Backup Browser for every 32 systems and do not use XP as BBR.
