Moving users to diff GPO messup IE settings

When I move a user between different groups, It is
changing their setting in Internet Explorer connections
to default to dial up. What would cause this?
 
Sounds like you are moving them out of the scope of influence of a Group Policy.
Either you moved them out of a container/OU where a GPO was applying those settings
or you removed them from a group that had apply permissions settings to a Group
Policy. You could use gpresult while logged on as that user and compare the before
and after Group Policies that are applied to that user. --- Steve
