GPO settings are not applied

Hello,

I have a problem with some GPO.
We have A Win2003 domain with W2k and Windows Xp clients.

The problem is that for Win XP Sp2 clients only the settings from one GPO
are not applied.

This setting is the IE Automatic conf. of Proxy under:
User Conf. -> Win. settings -> Internet Explorer Maintenance ->
Connection/Automatic bowser Conf.

All other GPO's are applied correctly.
I've checked with Gpresults and Group Policy Management console and it shows
that this GPO and the settings are applied but it's not true.

Sometimes when I force refresh with gpupdate /force it's applied but
sometimes not.

Any idea ?

Hello SuderMan,

A lot of problems occur when DNS is not configured correctly. Did you point
with the workstations only to your internal DNS? Which version from IE did
you use for 2000 and which one for XP?

Yes I use only my internal DNS and on win2000 we use IE 6 SP1 and on WinXp IE
6 SP2
