I recently began using Win Mail and now want to import folders from my old
email account, but do not know how to do it. Email account was through the www.suddenlink.net portal.
I have already downloaded the Inbox messages. Does anyone know if it is
possible to also download folders and their respective saved messages? If
so, could anyone tell me how to do it?
Windows Mail (like all POP clients) can only download from the
server's Inbox folder. To work around that limitation, do this:
In Windows Mail, move all emails from Inbox into another folder.
In webmail (www.suddenlink.net) move the contents of one of
your folders into the webmail Inbox.
Download those message with Windows Mail.
Repeat the above for as many folders as desired.
