Move AD Objects from one 2000 DC to a 2003 DC

We have a 2000 domain here with 3 DCs (About 1100 users). Things are very
messed up to say the least.

We want to have a fresh start with a 2003 domain. The only thing we wish to
preserve are the User and Computer objects (Maybe a few security groups).

We ordered new 3 new 2003 servers to be DCs on our 2003 domain.

HOW do we move the objects from the 2000 servers to the 2003 servers all
while preserving our domain? Can we have 2 separate AD schemas for the same
domain co-exisiting or is there some sort of export we should do from the
2000 DCs then import on the 2003 DCs?

If I could just get a 2000 DC up alongside a 2003 Server before it is a DC
and just move objects into the 2003 schema, then take down the 2000 and
bring up the 2003 that would be ideal.

How should we approach this fresh start?

Have a look at ADMTv2 you can migrate over the users and group as you need.

That tool won't allow me to go from one DC to another that reside in the
same domain.
