mouse pointer moves off screen

I'm having difficulty with my mouse. When i move the
pointer to the left side of the screen, it stops like it
should. Same with the top and bottom, however, when i move
it to the right of the screen the pointer keeps going of
screen and doesnt stop. This is very annoying as it keps
sending me back to the desktop if i accidentally click
while the pointer is off screen. Can anyone please help??

Hi, Pete.

It might be mouse drivers. Or graphics drivers. But, it might be that you
have Display Properties set for a larger Desktop than your actual screen.
Not all hardware and software will let you do that, but some will create a
"virtual desktop" bigger than your monitor.

What kind of mouse/graphics adapter/monitor combination are you using? Does
this happen in only a particular program, or all the time in WinXP? Have
you checked your settings in Control Panel | Display?

Hi... its a Microsoft Intellimouse.
Checked the screen size and resolution size... all seem
fine. I tries moving the screen off centre but the pointer
still continues off screen... very wierd

Desktop-Properties-Display-Choose 2nd Monitor and be sure extend desktop is not checked
