LOL it would appear to me that your screen resolution is higher than you
monitor, that you cant see whats on your screen. I could be wrong but if you
haven't noticed the monitor buttons on your monitor, try stretching the
screen as small as it can get and see if that works.
Thats the easiest solution I have, although it probably isn't the problem
you could still give it a try.

This is a normal condition for all versions of Windows and is not a problem
with the computer. It will also disappear at the bottom of the screen.

Not completely.

There's always 1 pixel's worth there, unless you're
using a CRT and have expanded the displayed image
off the edges of the usable area with the monitor controls.

Use those controls to bring the image in to a
letterboxed format (blank border all around) and you'll
see what I mean.

LCD monitors, when run at their native rez, will
show the 1 pixel portion of the cursor by default.

As I stated earlier, he's probably enabled dual-display
accidentally, and is moving the cursor onto the non-existant
secondary display.

Basically, only the very tip of the mouse is required to be showing
according to the GUI. This means that when you move it to the far left
or top, it cannot go any further as this would hide the tip. Now if you
move it to the far right or bottom, it will pretty much disappear except
for that one line of pixels on the right or single pixel on the bottom.

Well, I am running two laptops and two LCD monitors on my system, all in
native mode and when I move the mouse to the right and down I lose all view
of the mouse cursor on each system. I do have my mouse scheme set to
Windows Black on all my systems since with it set to normal the cursor
disappears into the grey background on the grey border around a document in
WISIWYG mode when in Word.

Now if I change it to normal what happens? - - - - - Veeery interesting.
Would you believe it, the mouse is now visible on the right side and bottom
of the screen.

Change it back to Windows Black. - - - - Guess what, it's visible.
Wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it with my own two eyes.

Live and learn. It really was gone and now it is back. Guess I'll have to
reboot the system I am currently on to see if it stays and try the other
systems now.
