Mouse keeps freezing

The mouse keeps freezing on an eMachine. Have cleaned mouse, doesn't help. If
it hangs re-booting doesn't help. Advise.

If the mouse has any, have you checked the level of the batteries? Have you
tried the mouse on another PC to see if you get the same problem?
