hey when im playing my games my monitor (brand new comp. the whole system only 2 weeks old) freezes and says it cant get a connection but i can still hear the game running Help me plaese this is very frustrating

What games is it?

Is this the very same instant the game starts or does it happen after a
while?

I'd guess it *could* be the monitors way of telling you the game is trying
to run in and unsupported resolution or refresh rate. If the games have a
"safe mode" run them in that and see what happens. Also try downloading the
latest driver for your video card - to work out what video card you have go
to http://windows.dasmirnov.net/guides/hardware.php then go to the
respective manufactures website. Some suppliers/builders of computers have
the drivers on their own website so check there too.

Or perhaps it's a hardware fault.

If the machine is only 2 weeks old then surely it's got to be covered by who
you brought it from.
