I just did a clean install to upgrade from Win ME to Win 2000. The upgrade
went fine and I have 2000 on the PC now but for some reason the Monitor will
only allow 16 colors and there is no option for the 256. Any ideas????

Go to the website of the manufacturer of your video card and download and
install the latest drivers for your video card that works with your
operating system.
