modem

I have installed a netodragon modem 56k, but can't get it to work, does any
body knows what a code 10 (device cannot start) message is? the device isn't
using any resources because it has a problem. I'm thinking the modem is no
good as in not working. Any suggestions?

Last time I had trouble with a modem install.
First I had to go into add/remove hardware and add
a "Network Adapter" that was not in the Device Manager
list. Once that was installed then went back to add new
hardware,selected choose from a list. And installed a
standard 56k modem.

That is specific to an IOmega USB drive - not a modem, for which it is
probably quite irrelevant
