MM2 DV-AVI Formats

I am trying to import my MM2 DV-AVI file into my Pinnacle Expression 2.2.1.2
software.
Pinnacle says it's an unrecognizable format.
Pinnacle website says it can import AVI files of most types.
What type does MM2 export as and can anybody help with this issue?
I am trying to create a DVD disc eventually to watch my movie on any DVD
player.

A possible cause is that MM2 saves in Type-1
DV-AVI format, but Pinnacle may require Type-2
DV-AVI. Conversion between the two types is
lossless, and can be accomplished using the
following software:

Bob you might be a double star, as I have a stack of AVIs that I would
like to process in Pinnacle 9, and Pinnacle rejects. So I will give
that app a go too.
