Missing Windows XP apperance

Jorgen

If I right-click on the desktop, click on properties, the the apperance tab.
I have only Windows classic to chose. So I can't get the real XP apperance.
What can I do. I have Home Edition.

Perhaps windows disabled this 'fancy appearance' for performance-reasons.
Is it an older (weaker) machine you're using ?

Look under system properties (rmb on my computer) -advanced - item
performance. click settings. click on radiobutton 'adjust for best
appearance'. Then al fancy stuff should appear... and perfomance will
perhaps drop.. ;-)

Thank you for your help. "Themes" was running so I restarted it but it
didn't solve the problem.
