virtual memory too low

my ioperating system is Windows XP- Home edition.
During working with internet, i ma getting message, your
system virtual memory is too low, windows exp------
message is appering.

Please tell us what update is required or any setting to
be corrected.

Thank you for the reference, Jim, but would you please for any page on
the site (Jim Eshelman's, not mine - I just have some pages) use the
..htm version, not the .php which leave out the side bar and cross

"Missed it by that much" a great line too.

Speaking of memory, just found a 1989 copy of PC Magazine
and the great computers listed really should make you happy
to be alive now. 286's for $2,000+ with 2 MB of RAM, 386's
for $4,000 and 486 just hitting the market $6,000. Adjust
for inflation and those prices would be at least 50% higher.
Now you can get a P4 system for as little as $400. Some
things are better today.
