Missing microsoft office

I just installed xp to my home pc and none of the office
programs are available. Do I need to reinstall?

The Office suite of applications is not part of the Windows operating system's installation. It must be purchased and installed separately.

You have to purchase Office, it's not part of Win XP or

Microsoft Office is not now nor has it ever been a part of any Windows
operating system. There are some manufacturer's that may bundle Office with
their computers but it is not a part of the operating system, it is sold
separately.

Yes - if you have a copy of MS Office that is compatible with WinXP.

Neither the Microsoft Office application suite, nor any of its
individual component applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access,
Outlook, etc.), have _ever_ been "part" of *any* Windows operating
system. They are, and always have been, separate applications, that
must be purchased and installed separately.

Yes. You need to put in YOUR copy of Office and re-install it.
Office is not a part of XP. Office has NEVER been part of any OS.

If you don't have a copy of Office, then you'll need to install a
couple of hundred dollars or so into a retailer's cash till to get it.
