I received the following:
When you install Microsoft Windows XP, you may receive the
following error message:
[Files Needed]
The file 'Asms' on Windows XP Professional CD-ROM is
needed. Type the path where the file is located, and then
click OK.
Copy files from: GLOBALROOT\DEVICE\CDROM0\I386
I was originally told, before putting in the Operating
Disk, that the missing file is: C:\Windows\i386
\controls.com
Do you think I can still install XP???
And, if so, I read about the "All Users" and "Shared"
files may be missing, BUT WHAT ABOUT all My Pictures in My
Documents?
Just so afraid of losing those!!!!!!!!
Thanks.
