missing file and pc freezing

Hi.. Here is my problem which has been going on for over 3 months with no end
in site.. Im a rookie for the most part when it comes to pcs. Anyway my
laptop
is guaranteed to freeze totally when it is plugged in...running on battery
alone will not freeze my pc ever.. Ive ran updated NAV, trojan
hunters...ad-aware.. spy sweeper and tonight trojan hunter which told me of
no found trojans but did tell me that "Diretory D:\ " was missing? My main
problem is with the constant freezing....Im seriously begging for help..

This a newsgroup, not a chat group. A reply can take a few minutes to hours
or days to get a reply. This is a peer support newsgroup and is not
officially monitored by Microsoft, although MS employees do post on their
own time. You can recognize them by their MSFT signature, otherwise it is
from other users like yourself that have encountered the same problem or
have the knowledge or researched the problem to find an answer.

Have you checked if there is actually a problem with the power brick, or the
connection for the power brick on the laptop.
Since the problem is only manifested when you connect the AC power brick,
this looks like a hardware problem.
