Hi.. Here is my problem which has been going on for over 3 months with no end
in site.. Im a rookie for the most part when it comes to pcs. Anyway my
laptop
is guaranteed to freeze totally when it is plugged in...running on battery
alone will not freeze my pc ever.. Ive ran updated NAV, trojan
hunters...ad-aware.. spy sweeper and tonight trojan hunter which told me of
no found trojans but did tell me that "Diretory D:\ " was missing? My main
problem is with the constant freezing....Im seriously begging for help..
Thanks so much to anyone who can help me!

Kellipurr,
I have had only 3 yrs of computer experience, but I think it is ok to
have directory D missing, if you do NOT have a CD-R reader/burner.
My laptop has a "C" drive and a "D" drive(my cd palyer/burner.). I also
have an A:\ drive ...that is a floppy drive.

This may be a none issue.

I will let the more experienced techies answer your question.

Also, if you have Partition Magic...you might have several drives
...like "F" "G" or "H".
