minimize

my programs, when I minimize them disappear. I cannot
find the fix anywhere so I need some help. All good ideas
welcomed.

I have tried turning the toolbar on and off on the
taskbar with no effect and the toolbar seems frozen in
place. I can add programs and take them off the toolbar
but I can't move the toolbar for spacing.

What do you mean they disappear ,they close altogether or
just minimise to the task bar?

If you right click on the task bar then unclick "lock the
taskbar" you can drag it larger or to a different
position.
