Explorer Addresss toolbar gone missing...

This is a weird problem.

The Address toolbar in Windows Explorer has gone missing.

I can right click on toolbars and select/deselect the Address toolbar and
nothing happens. (when I select/deselect the Links toolbar, it behaves
properly). the Address toolbar on the taskbar does not show up either.

the IE7 address bar is ok.

Not sure what I did to make it disappear... maybe resized it or something.
Registery looks ok (compared Explorer toolbar settings on another computer).

Hi Doug;

Tried it; didn't work.

(ran the program, closed all open explorer windows, clicked on the fix
button, rebooted, opened explorer, verified address toolbar checkmark is on).
Did that twice.

Now, would other programs interfere with the toolbar?

Hi,
Longshot... but run regedit. Once registry editor is open, go to Edit> Find.
Search for the value: NoAddressBar. If found, right-click and modify the
value from 1 to 0. Be patient, registry searches can take some time.

The value *may* be in this key
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explo
rer]

Hope this helps,

Nope; no such key.
Added it in, no change.

One thing that is strange, I make changes to the toolbar settings, close the
window, and reopen the same folder... and the changes are gone.

I use the admin account, same thing.
