Minimize Media Player

Using WinXP Home (Dutch) and Media Player 9.00.00.3250
I would like to start the Media Player up at Windows Startup minimized on
the Task Bar (so the smallest possible way/view).
I have placed the Player's Icon in Startup, and changed the properties to
Minimized screen.
I have checked the option in Media Player (3rd from the top under "Settings
for the player" - translating from Dutch) - "Show in compact mode...".
However, when I start up Windows, the media player starts in full screen mode.

I just want it to go down to my taskbar at start up! I am probably missing
some setting.

Help!
