I want to use Windows Mediaplayer as my default cd player but can not set
Auto Run for my CD or DVD drive in Device Manager because it lacks an Auto
Run Tab.
Is there any solution for this"
WinXP SP3 and Media Player 11.

Use Windows Media Player to set it up. Via right-click on its window
title, choose:
Tools > Options...
Then go to "File Types" tab.
Tick the "Music CD playback" and "DVD Video" until the tick boxes
background are white (not grey).
Press OK button at bottom of dalog.

In Windows Explorer, right click on the drive icon, click properties, select
the Autoplay tab, you can set it there.

As JRosenfeld stated, the AutoPlay settings are not in Device Manager.
Right-click the CD or DVD drive in Windows Explorer or My Computer,
click Properties on the menu that appears, and click the AutoPlay tab
for the drive.
