My computer will not play midi files since I rebuilt the
hard drive. I have a loaded Dell 8250 Dimension with
Windows Xp and a Creative SB Live! Series sound card. I
updated to Windows Media Player version 9 and still no
midi music, I downloaded RealPlayer version 10 and it will
not play midi music, I installed MUSICMATCH JukeBox and it
will not play midi music. I can not find any informtion
concerning my problem. Thanks, sarge

Rightclick the sound icon (bottom righthand corner or monitor) and click Open volume Control. Uncheck the Mute button under MIDI.
