Microsoft Word xp Problem

Some times, when working in Microsoft Word the window boarder will start
flashing and the program locks up and needs to be shut down with
Ctrl,Alt,Delete, anyone had this trouble.

Thanks for the advice, done as you suggested, got onto Detect and Repair in
Word, followed the prompts which includes reading from the set up CD and it
now seems to be OK ...
