i can see the pictures but cannot do any thing with them, it says "files are
currently unavailable:1 image on removable media titled"local disk (c.

can anyone help with restoring my pictures?

Are you making your selection from the
Recent Files filmstrip on the Start Up window?
It sounds like your images may have been
moved or deleted.

Open PI7 and close the Start Up window.
Now...go to...File / Open. In your File Browser
(folders tab) navigate to the folder that contains
your images (probably My Pictures)...select
one or more images and try to open them.
