Sorry to place in this forum but could not find one for office. I have a new
laptop, and I would like to transfer all my outlook info to that laptop from
my home PC. Is there a way to do this? I am not so computer savy so I am not
sure how to do this. I have the same version outlook (not outlook express) on
my laptop as on my home PC. I would like to have all my folders and saved
info transfered to the laptop, also the archives if possable. Hope someone
can help. Blessings to yous all.

Isn't it more commonly spelled "youse all" ? ;-)

The best group for Outlook questions is microsoft.public.outlook.

Since you're using the web interface to the newsgroups, you may have a hard
time finding it. I suggest you start using a news client, such as Forte
Agent, Thunderbird, or even Outlook Express, rather than the pretty clunky
web interface. It's a lot easier to do nearly everything that way. You can
mark messages to be watched, filter the views so you can see replies to your
posts easily, and search.

The Microsoft public news server is msnews.microsoft.com and you can
subscribe to as many groups as you like; no authentication is required.

That said - your calendar data, as well as messages, tasks, notes, contacts,
etc. are
stored in a file with a .PST extension. Look here for all the information
you need on backup and restoration of Outlook data:

You might try one of the Outlook newsgroups in microsoft.public.outlook.*
