microsoft internest explorer provided by Verizon Online

I currently use Comcast which always says "Microsoft Internet Explorer
provided by Verizon Online", which I don't understand since I do not have
verizon. Anyway, I am constantly being kicked off-line and am told
"Microsoft Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to
close"...does anyone know what can be done about this?

Hey there,

There are lots of causes for us to receive that error, but here are a few of
the more frequent ones:

Regarding that IE Provided By Verizon, your PC vendor might have that
installed for you, or it could be by someone else. Just make sure that the
IE provided by Verizon Online has also the version SP2 under Help > About
Internet Explorer.
