Printing trouble shooting

My friend recently changed his internet provider to Verizon, and since then
he is experiencing a problem printing. He can still print his email messages
with no problems. However, when he surfs the net with the Internet Explorer
and displays a web page, he can't print it (no error messages). He has
contacted Verizon and the printer manufacturer with no help from either. I
am trying to help him and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What are the steps he uses to print when he's in Internet Explorer?

The problem has nothing to do with their ISP. It is a problem related
to his computer itself. Have they tried simple troubleshooting like
deleting the printer and all it's drivers, then reinstalling the
printer?

Try Firefox and see if it works there.
