microsoft hearts

could anyone offer an opinion on why the animation speed option in microsoft hearts does not work on my computer? it's a dell with windows xp. regardless of which radio button i choose--slow, normal, or fast--the animation speed remains the same--fast.

It does this on my PC too, it's because it is designed for much older PCs so the animations will play almost instantly on anything new. I wouldn't worry about it though - the gameplay is just the same
