PowerPoint 2007

I am using Vista Ultimate and PowerPoint 2007. The autopreview on animations
is so fast it is unusable. Even hitting the "play" button renders all the
animations at the speed of a screen flicker. The program works fine on my
laptopusing the same software. Can anyone help me slow it down?

Hi Sid

What are the animations? For example, if they are 'appear' animations set to
'on mouse click' they will flash past pretty quickly as appear is
spontaneous and PowerPoint does the clicking for you (as it were). Try
reviewing the animations in slide show view rather than with the play
button. If that isn't the case, try this: Slide Show -> Set up show ->
untick 'use hardware graphics acceleration'.
