Hi,

I am trying to mail merge some fax's in Word 2003. The fax option
does not show in the mail merge box? I have installed Fax Services in
windows XP Pro but I am un sure if this is the same product as
Microsoft Fax?

Any ideas?

Unless e-faxing, you will either have to combine the documents into one by
copy and paste and send as one master document, or send each one
individually..

Hi,

So Fax Merge is not possible in Word 2003 to a fax modem card?

Microsoft Fax is the same thing as Fax Services..

The merge does work but the point at which FAX becomes apparent is when you
are given the option to PRINT.. when taken to the PRINT screen, you select
the FAX printer instead of the local default printer..

It's not clear what you're trying to do.
Merge usually means addressees and a single document.
"Some faxes" implies multiple documents - which has nothing to do with merge
I believe.

Some clarity might help get focused answers.

Hi Fred,

I send a fax out each month to my customers, I just send a standard
letter created in word and click print and then use the fax printer. I
then add all of my fax numbers from the address book and then finish.
it sends the same fax to all of my customers.

What I would like to be able to do is insert the company and contact
name into each of the faxes sent. I thought that I might be able to do
this with Word Mail Merge to Fax?
