I have a program called "Microsoft Baseline Security Advisor". It sure
looks like it the real deal but with all the hoaxes around lately I figured
I'd better check. I does exist, correct? In the "title bar" at the bottom
of the main window it says,
copyright 2002-2003 Microsoft Corporatoon, Shavlik Technologies, LLC. All
rights reserve."

Thanks in advance... Bob

Download, install and run the Microsoft Baseline Security Advisor:

The key question is =where did you get it from=. If the source is not
trusted, it doesn't matter whether the program was (or claims to be)
written by St Peter himself, it has to be regarded as compromised.
