Microsoft Baseline Analyze

I running Microsoft Baseline analyzer on a remote PC and I receive the
following error An error occurred while scanning for security updates.
(0x80070005) when scanning for missing security updates. Usually I check to
make sure automatic updates is set to automatic and the service is running.
Both are correct. I can't seem to figure out this error. Any help would be
much apprecaited.

Thanks for your posting but I think following newsgroup is more approprate
for Basedline Analyze:
microsoft.public.security.baseline_analyzer

This does not to be a managed newsgroup. I've posted my question in this
newsgroup and have yet to receive an answer. Its been three days or so.

I do understand your concern but I'll appreciate your understanding that
according to our support boundary, at this time we do not have a managed
newsgroup for this technology.To request one, please post your wish to
microsoft.public.technet.howtofeedback

I suggest you post your issue in the
microsoft.public.security.baseline_analyzer for peer experience and
suggestions,this will provide access to others who read the public
newsgroups regularly who will either share their knowledge.
