Hi all

Using Outlook 2003 and having an issue where some messages are coming
up blank in the preview pane and when you open them.

When you reply to them, the message body is all there (but liable to
disappear on random keystrokes)

Not sure that I have explained that well, so have included a screenshot
(blurred to protect the innocent) of how it appears in the preview pane
and how it all reappears when replying.

You can view them here:

Any idea what I do about this, very annoying

Matt

Make sure you disable any email scanners. Also make sure the font isn't the
same color as the background.

what do you mean by email scanner? I am pretty sure I dont have
anything like that running.

And no, background color and font color are not the same

Many antivirus programs will scan incoming or outgoing mail. Some of what
you've described can be caused by that. If your AV program scans mail,
uninstall it and reinstall it without that feature.

Oh ok, i am running Norton but have scanning disabled at the moment as
we have been having some bandwidth issues, and it tends to hold
everything up....
