message stuck in outbox

I have a message that I cannot delete from my outbox and am puzzled as to

Did you try installing both the 32-bit version and the 64-bit version?
At least one will just refuse to install, but which one depends on
which version of Vista you have.

Did the fix at least make it so that you are now able to move the
message to the Drafts folder or delete it?

If this doesn't help, who is your email provider (probably the
same as your internet provider) and what if any antivirus programs
do you have?

After a lot of work I found if you download from Microsoft.com a patch called
KB941090 and install it you can delete dleted emails from the other folders.
