In XP home how do you stop programs from loading as your
computer boots up?

Hi Bob,

Pretty much the same way you have with most versions of Windows since 1998.
Check the program settings and look for an option to disable it from loading
at boot. For the rest, start/run msconfig and go to the startup tab.
