Hi folk's
I posted a problem earlier today..stating that everytime i started windows I
got an error message saying " windows cannot find
c:\windows\system32\scvhost.exe , make sure you typed the name corerectly and
try again."

I was grateful for a few suggestions, which advised me to run a virus scan
(which I have done and still have the prblem ) and also to check for adware
ect ( which I have also done and still have the problem ) . Also, advised to
run autorun program to determine which programs are loading at start-up etc.
I have tried this also, but don't know which porgrams/files should be
included in start-up and I am still gertting the message on start-up. Now
also, my computer is runn ing very , very slow.
Anyone out there got a plan b for me? All help gratefully needed...

SCVHOST.EXE is an indication of a virus. SVCHOST.EXE is the program
used by Windows. If you're still getting the error, you haven't cleaned
it properly. *You may need to do this in Safe Mode.*

Others may have suggested, hijackthis, spybot, ad-aware.
