Memory Reporting Problems

Hi,

I have a HP Dc7100 with 4GB of RAM, which is need for our software (we are a
software house). The bios reports 4096MB but Windows XP only reports
3.11GB....whats the solution ? We have XP professional SP1, the box has 4 X
1GB sticks in it.

I have tried the /3GB switch with no luck.

Any body have any ideas ?

What is reporting it? If the System info tool, don't trust it - it has
a bug in this area. See what Control Panel - System - General page says
at the bottom

Is the video card adapter built onto the motherboard? On-board video cards
"share" the system memory.
