Meeting Request - Can Others See the Appointment Details?

Hello:

I am teaching others in my organization to use the "Meeting Request"
feature, and some privacy questions have been raised.

When someone is scheduling a meeting request, is there ANY way that
they could ever see the details of the appointments that are entered in
someone else's calendar? I have tested this on my own computer, and
the only details I can see are in my own calendar... everyone else's
timeslots just appear as busy, tentative, etc.

If people don't give other users permissions to their calendar, they will
see what you have described - free/busy/out of office. If they give
permissions, they'll see the detail of all but Private appointments.

Additionally, ensure that the planner options do NOT have the "show meeting
details in grid" checked as well.
