MBSA 1.2 reports "3 security updates could not be confirmed".
Installation history shows that the specified updates were downloaded and
installed.
The installation programs for the 3 updates are:
1) dxwebsetup.exe (DirectX 9.0 Web setup);
2) js56nen.exe (Win32 Cabinet Self-Extractor);
3) WindowsXP-KB810217-x86-ENU.exe (Self-Extracting Cabinet).
QUESTION: Can each of the updates be reinstalled safely, or is more
information required?
NOTE: I have no idea what these updates are about, and - in particular -
whether or not they apply to aspects of my system which are currently IN
USE, ENABLED, etc..., or even EXISTING.
