Maxtor SATA Drive

Very Unfortunately I only have one mass storage device and
it is a Maxtor SATA vt8237, and like you have replied to
Stuart M. Ray yesterday, I pressed F6 to install the drive
for my SATA, and it told me that i needed a back up floopy
disk of some sort. Very luckily i was able to get the
TXTSETUP.oem file, and the VT8237 file from my motherboard
driver disk. I copied these 2 files on to a floopy disk
and pressed F6 during the intallation again to install the
driver for my SATA. Then i got another error message that
an unexpected error has occured. error(18) or something
like that. So until now I am using Windows ME, and I am
really looking forward to install Windows XP. Do I need
more than those 2 files from the CD? If so, what are the
names of the specific files (By the way, my driver CD is a
gigabyte VUCD Ver. 2.34), and what do i really have to do
to install XP on my computer? Thank You Microsoft!
