I understand that XP Home can only support up to 5 PC, but does that mean if
i have XP Pro for 1 of the PC that will be used as the host and then i have
no more 5 PC restrictions? mean i can have 7 or 8 other PC using XP Home to
share file from the XP Pro PC acted as the host. Thank you.

XP Pro will support up to ten file-sharing connections. So, yes provided all
of the shares are on the Pro machine.

Yes. An XP Pro computer can have active file sharing connections with
up to 10 computers at the same time:

A computer that isn't actively connected to a shared file doesn't
count against the limit.
