master slide

I have a power point presentation with the following pecularities:
when viewed as a ppt there is no background on the slides
when viewing the master slide there is a slide with a required background
formatting( picture), Any idea for the cause of this?

I want the picture to be on the background of all the slides.
I use office 2003

Hi

Try right clicking on a blank area of slide > Background.
Check that "Omit background graphics from master" isn't ticked. If it is >
Untick > Apply to All
