Title Master taking over Slide Master?

In PPT 2000, I am combining 2 presentations into one -- A & B. A has all
background and formatting removed. B has a title master and a slide master
and all the formatting that should remain. When I copy slides from A and
paste into B, ALL the slides come out with the Title Master format. Nothing
changes the formatting or background from title master to slide master. The
only thing that works is cutting text from A and pasting into the correct
slide master format in B. This is great except that I have 60+ slides to
convert. I must be missing something but I don't know what? Suggestions?

Sounds like all the slides use the title slide *layout.* Try applying the
appropriate slide layout. (I think it's under Format | Layout in 2000.)

Echo - Thank you! I knew it had to be something simple I was missing! It
fixed 98% of the problem, and I can live with that.
