When you use Windows Explorer to map a drive to a remote server, Windows
Explorer opens an additional window that displays the contents of the drive
you mapped.
In Windows 2000, there was a well-documented way to prevent the new window
from opening (see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290703). This KB article
presents the Registry Key solution ("_noWindowMappedDrive").
But in Windows XP, the solution presented in the KB article does not work.
What can I do in XP/SP2 to prevent a new window from opening?
Thanks!
