mapisrvr.exe?

What is "mapisrvr.exe"? I frequently get a from message that tells me that
the file "gapi.dll" cannot be found and that it is needed by mapisrvr.exe. I
am running an automatic facility from Norton called one button checkup and
when I activate the fix button this appears to repair it, however when I
rescan I find the fault still there. How best can I acqire this file. any
info will be appreciated.

To copy the file Gapi32.dll to where WinDoctor expects to find it
Open Windows Explorer.
Navigate to the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Mapi\1033\NT.
In the right Explorer pane, right-click on the file Gapi32.dll and choose
Copy.
Navigate to the folder C:\Windows\System32.
Right-click on the folder System32 and choose Paste.
Close Windows Explorer.
Restart the computer.

Now, when you run WinDoctor, the error should no longer appear.

Tell WinDoctor to ignore the error
Because this appears to be a problem with WinDoctor and not with the
Microsoft files mentioned, it is probably safe to set WinDoctor to ignore
the problems so that WinDoctor will not keep detecting them. To set
WinDoctor to ignore these problems, read the document Norton WinDoctor is
unable to repair an error or finds the same errors repeatedly
