The "Customize Outlook Today" button does not work. Is
there a patch or fix? I would like to make Outlook Today
my default opening page but the customize button will not
work.

Here is something I found that you might try. It looks like trying to
Customize Outlook Today on Outlook versions 2000 and earlier that nothing
happens after clicking the Customize Outlook Today option. This could be
caused by the update from article 813489 (MS03-015) is installed. MS03-015
includes a security fix that causes this feature to no longer work in
Outlook 2000. Here are some steps to work around this issue.

1. Add an outlook.exe DWORD value to the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Application
Compatibility
2. Set the outlook.exe DWORD value to 1 to temporarily disable MS03-015 so
that you can customize Outlook Today.
3. Customize Outlook Today.
4. Remove the outlook.exe DWORD value you created in Step 2 and restart
your computer so that MS03-015 is enabled again.

Note: You can export the above registry key with and without the
outlook.exe DWORD value if you need to automate this process so that you
can customize Outlook Today frequently.

I hope this information is helpful.
