Mail window does not close after send using file send from Office 2003 app

This happens when I send a file using OL2003 from another 2003 App - Word in
particular. The message does go to the outbox and sends fine but the message
window remains open. I have to close it manually. Any ideas?

We are experiencing the same issue; did you ever get an answer to this from
elsewhere?
