Mail over quota

I am having the same issue that Sandi had on 11/21/07. She wrote:
"I started getting a ton of
emails that were bouncing. This is the message that I get....
A message was sent to you that was returned to the sender(bounced)
because it would have caused your mailbox quota to be exceeded.

I have deleted all of my junk mail and deleted items folders, but messages
are still bouncing. any ideas on what to do? (I am still receiving some
emails just fine, btw)"
Word for word that is my problem. I have cleaned out all my files and I am
still getting these bounce backs from e-mails that have attachments. These
e-mails are from reliable sources. Some of the e-mails are from a sender that
I get e-mails from every week. The attachment is the same report each week
and I have never had problems until now. I have been receiving this report
since September. I have followed the advice of changing my e-mail account to
delete my e-mails after 30 days. But as of right now, I know I do nto have
many e-mails in my inbox. Any further suggestions?

Go to your mail provider's webmail, login to your account there,
and either delete or archive the messages on the server.

Windows Mail doesn't impose a quota on your machine.

It's more likely that the quota is for the messages stored in your account
on
the email server you are using, so see if you can log into it using webmail
instead of Windows Mail and start deleting some messages there.
