Mail delivery to PST not happening

There is an instance in Outlook 2000 where the mail should deliver to the PST
file but does not do so unless you click the send recieve button. The PST
file is only 300MB and just in case I set to allow upgrade to large tables so
it's limit of items would not be an issue either. I have removed the
Exchange service from outlook and re added it with no luck and also changed
delivery location back to the server, closed outlook logged back on and then
set delivery back to the PST with no luck. Does anyone have some ideas what
may be causing the delivery not to go to the PST file. Sometimes if you wait
long enough they do show but that's not what the guy wants. As always any
ideas are appreciated!

I have seen this, I never had to resolve it. You might make sure he is using
the latest Service Pack for Outlook.
